Reading history through an architectural sequence
Set within the Acropolis of Athens, the academic museum proposal explores how architecture can convey the changing histories of a place. Historical and axial studies inform a spatial sequence that moves between archaeological traces, galleries, and the surrounding landscape.
The design uses layout, light and materials to create distinct emotional conditions. The galleries become a means of experiencing continuity and change, placing the encounter with artefacts within a broader narrative of the site’s cultural memory.
